PROJECT CONCEPT

The virus which causes Aids – HIV – was first identified by scientists more than 30 years ago. This animation explains the origins and how the virus spread around the world.

The animation took 2 days to design and animate
The animation was a series of maps and charts and needed to be made visually interesting.
The animation had to be kept within the BBC brand.

This animation was packed with maps and stats, making it super engaging! To draw in the viewers, we designed unique illustrations while staying true to the same graphic style and the BBC corporate brand. It was a fun challenge that really paid off!
